Seribu Islands Looking for Talented Youth at Abnon 2022

The Seribu Islands Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Sub-agency opens registration for the competition of Abang None (Abnon) 2022 candidates. Registration has been open from May 17 to June 23.

Hope this year's Abang None competition will be a starting point for reviving tourism

Parekraf Sub-agency Head Puji Hastuti said it was a turning point for the return of the election of the most prestigious tourism ambassadors in Jakarta and Indonesia.

"We are optimistic that the youth of Jakarta, especially those in Seribu Islands, are still excited and enthusiastic to take part in this event," she stated, Monday (5/23).

According to her, the current target market is dominated by Generation Z, who tend to have the character of wanting to be agents of change in their social environment. It was a distinct advantage for the Seribu Islands' Abang None Association to find the best talents who would be prepared to become the 'face' of tourism in Seribu Islands and Jakarta.

"Hope this year's Abang None competition will be a starting point for reviving tourism as the 'motor' driving the economy of the Seribu Islands community," she expressed.

Registration can be done through the website disparekraf.jakarta.go.id/PendaftaranAbnon2022. Afterward, registrants can register and then select 'Abnon Seribu'. The last step is to fill out the form that has been prepared and wait to be contacted by the committee.

"As for other requirements, such as having an interest in tourism and the creative economy in Jakarta, aged 18-25, participating in self-development programs for a predetermined time and being able to communicate in foreign languages, and being willing to contribute to the Jakarta administration," she closed
